Limiting the number of selectable categories for Multi-Vendor

The module sets limits on the number of categories that a seller can choose.

SCOPE OF APPLICATION

The module is suitable for large marketplaces with a large number of vendors.


APPLICATION EXAMPLE

In order for a new vendor, who has not yet collaborated with any marketplace, to be able to correctly designate the categories of his product, the administrator limits the number of categories he selects.

SPECIFICATIONS
  • Limits the number of categories for the seller;
  • Limits the number of categories for the administrator.

MODULE SETTINGS

1. To configure a module, go to the "Modules" tab, in the pop-up menu, select "Modules Management" and the "MAURISWEB" section.



2. In the list that opens, select the module you are interested in and click on its name, highlighted in blue or black.


3. On the page that opens, go to the "Licensing" section and in the "License key" field enter the license key that is available in your account at www.maurisweb.ru in the list of purchased modules and sent to your mail.



4. In the "Available domains" and "Test domains" sections, check the correctness of the specified domains. You can add additional domains by clicking on the white "Add Domain" button on the right side of the page. The total number of domains should not exceed three.


 


5. Go down below, select the "Basic settings" section and tick the box "Save data when removing the module" so as not to lose them when reinstalling the module.


 


6. Save the module settings by clicking on the blue "Save" button at the top right of the panel.




PRIVILEGE

SELLER PRIVILEGES

1. To set up seller privileges, go to the "Buyers" tab and select the "User Groups" section.




2. Select the required group by clicking on its name highlighted in blue. Make sure the group has the type "Seller".




3. Find the section "MW: Product Card Privileges: Categories" and tick the number of categories that you allow the vendor to access.



4. Click on the blue "Save" button in the lower right corner to save your changes.




ADMINISTRATOR'S PRIVILEGES

1. To set up administrator privileges, go to the "Customers" tab and select the "User Groups" section.



2. Select the required group by clicking on its name highlighted in blue. Make sure the group has the type "Administrator".



3. Find the section "MW: Product Card Privileges: Categories" and tick the number of categories that you allow the administrator to access.



4. Click on the blue "Save" button in the lower right corner to save your changes.


VERIFICATION OF THE RESULT


1. Click on the icon in the form of a human silhouette, go to the "Login as a seller" section and select the name of the seller from the drop-down list.




2. In the seller's panel, go to the "Products" tab and select the "Products" section.




3. Select any product. To do this, click on its name highlighted in green or black.




4. The page will display the number of categories the seller is allowed to access.
