Cloning Categories for Multi-Vendor

The module is designed to duplicate the directory structure to another storefront or create a system of subcategories for similar product groups. It copies the directory structure, that is, clones a tree of categories with subcategories, while leaving the names of all elements of the tree unchanged.

APPLICATION EXAMPLE

The vendor already has a fully structured category "Evening Dresses Turkey", and then a new category "Evening Dresses Belarus" appears, which requires exactly the same structure. In this case, the administrator can simply clone the category tree.


SPECIFICATIONS

The module copies the category tree.

MODULE SETTINGS

1. To configure a module, go to the "Modules" tab, in the pop-up menu, select "Modules Management" and the "MAURISWEB" section.



2. In the list that opens, select the module you are interested in and click on its name, highlighted in blue or black.



3. On the page that opens, select the "General" tab, go to the "Licensing" section and in the "License key" field, enter the license key that is available in your account at www.maurisweb.ru in the list of purchased modules and also sent to you by e-mail.




4. In the "Available domains" and "Test domains" sections, check the correctness of the specified domains. You can add additional domains by clicking on the white "Add Domain" button on the right side of the page. The total number of domains should not exceed three.



5. Go down below, select the "Basic settings" section and tick the box "Save data when removing the module" so as not to lose them when reinstalling the module.я.



6. Save the module settings by clicking on the blue "Save" button at the top right of the panel.



FUNCTIONALITY OF THE MODULE

1. To clone a category, go to the "Products" tab and select the "Categories" section.



2. In the list that opens, select the required category. To do this, click on its name highlighted in blue.




3. Click on the blue gear-shaped button in the upper right corner of the panel and select the "Clone Category and Subcategory" function.




4. The category tree will be copied with the same name and ending with [CLONE] at the end.



5. Return to the "Categories" section.



6. The cloned category will also be presented in the general list.




7. As a result of cloning, a duplicate category with all subcategories turned out.
