The module is a collection of patches, features and solutions, covering errors that we or our customers find in new and old versions of the CS-Cart platform.
Where do errors come from
CS-Cart is an amazingly mobile and constantly evolving platform. Developers are constantly adding new features, improving the interface, making it more convenient and useful for you and me. But sometimes adding new features leads to errors. It is almost impossible to test all the available functions at the development stage, and even more so under load or under certain conditions.
Therefore, the appearance of new versions is often accompanied by the appearance of new errors, which sometimes take months or even more to solve.
An example is the situation that arose before version 4.15: in the presence of a large number of characteristics (from 500 to 3000, depending on the server capacity), the admin panel began to slow down significantly when entering the product catalog and sometimes hang up altogether. This problem was solved only in version 4.15. However, the problem remained in the previous version, and also not solved with a large number of filters.
All problems will certainly be solved, but it takes time and resources, and you need to work now and not sometime tomorrow and wait for updates to be released.
Collection of patches
We can already offer you a solution to the above problem with filters, and many other, minor and less noticeable and unnoticeable problems for you now. We collect similar patches in one module. Previously, it was closed and was provided only to customers on a separate request, but now we have decided to make it open.
In order not to clog the module, we either remove patches for already solved problems from it, or leave them only for those versions of the platform for which they are relevant.
