Webhook for notifying the client about the incident: GET, POST, PUT, DELETE CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor

Facebook Instagram module helps to build communication between your website and third-party integrations with various services: CRM systems, warehouse and accounting programs, SMS notification programs, email, messengers and social networks, chatbots for Telegram, Viber, VKontakte, Facebook, Instagram and other integrations for transmitting events.

Interaction with third-party services

Many third-party services need to receive a request from the CS-Cart kernel in order to initiate a particular scenario, but this platform does not send such requests by default. It can be done on the construction site on the other side that the program regularly knocked on the API and checked whether there was an event initiating the script, and if the event occurred, ran the script.

However, this greatly increases the load on the site, especially when you consider that there can be a lot of such requests from different programs and very often. In addition, it is not safe and seriously reduces the reliability of the site.

Therefore, we have created a module that, according to a given scenario, sends a request to a third-party external service and reports that the expected event has occurred.

Module functionality

You create various scenarios in advance, in which you specify which trigger and which URL to send information to. The number of scenarios in the module is unlimited.

After setting up the script, it starts working like this: in the event of an event configured as a trigger, the module sends to the specified URL. A third-party service, having received information about the occurrence of an external resource event, knocks on the API and requests detailed information. Then your script is already running, configured on the side of an external service.

By configuring the script, you can choose one of 4 methods for sending a request:
GET — getting information about an event on your resource,
POST — creating an event on an external resource,
PUT — updating event information on your resource,
DELETE — Request to delete information on the resource.

Possible work scenarios

Let's describe several possible scenarios. For example, you want to add a script with a trigger to change the order status "Payment by invoice". You give the task to the developer, but he only works with the warehouse accounting program. It does not work with other programs, and with the CS-Cart code, and even more so, he has no desire to understand. But to work, he has a CS-Cart API on the basis of which he will write a handler for your configuration. You install the module, specify a link to request information about the event on your site. When an event occurs, information goes to an external resource that appeared in the order status "Payment by invoice", the external service automatically requests detailed information about the order and forms an agreement or an invoice agreement. Then, depending on the settings, it sends the invoice either to the website interface or to the buyer's email. After that, the order status can be changed to "Invoiced". When the buyer pays the bill, 1C will also send information about the status change to "Paid".

Another possible scenario is interaction with CRM. For example, the order status changes to "Discuss with the manager", the module knocks on the CRM and informs that there is an order for discussion. CRM takes detailed information about the order and passes it to the manager, and then from the script.

At the moment, the module works with the "Order" entity and sends information about two fields: ID and order status.

If you need to work with other entities, for example, with information from other modules, or to increase the list of fields to be sent, write to us. We are ready to finalize the module according to your request.
