If you upload an import file from a supplier for 100 or 10,000 products, the import completely overwrites the information about existing products, and you get a huge load on the server and database every time. This can significantly slow down your online store, customers will have to wait longer for the site pages to load. When after importing the product was overwritten, it is necessary to clear the cache and generate it again and here you get + 100% load to the current cache generation. Not every customer will agree to wait a few seconds for the cache to finish loading.

The import overwrites not only textual information about products, but also images, characteristics, etc. every time. That is, import accesses a third-party server, requests a picture, saves it to the hard disk, and creates thumbnails. In the processing of one image can come to 3-5 seconds. If you have 10 thousand products, and each product has 3-4 pictures on average, the import can take 1.5-3 hours.
In some cases, after downloading imports from a supplier, you have to make changes to the product card: you need to make it more informative and attractive to the customer. So you've spent a lot of time making changes, and the supplier has new products. And you need to import new products. But this will completely overwrite the existing products, which means all your hard work will be for naught.
To solve all these problems, we have created the "Easy Import" module.
