Easy Import module for online store
The module reduces the load on the RAM, CPU, PHP and MySQL of the store when importing goods. Allows you to simultaneously update the quantity, price, create new products new products.

The peculiarity of the CS-Cart platform is that when re-importing, you can choose one of three loading strategies: creating new products, updating the remnants of existing products, or updating existing products and creating new ones.
If you download an import file from a supplier for 100 or 10,000 products, the import completely overwrites the information about existing products, and you get a huge load on the server and database every time. This can significantly slow down the online store, customers will have to wait longer for the site pages to load. When the product has been overwritten after import, it is necessary to clear the cache and generate it again, and then you get + 100% load to the current one when generating the cache. Not every customer will agree to wait a few seconds for the cache to finish loading.
Each time the import overwrites not only the text information about the goods, but also images, characteristics, etc. That is, the import accesses a third-party server, requests an image, saves it to the hard disk, creates thumbnails. The processing time of one image can take up to 3-5 seconds. If you have 10 thousand products, and each product has an average of 3-4 photos, then import can take 1.5-3 hours.
In some cases, after downloading imports from the supplier, you have to make changes to the product card: it needs to be made more informative, attractive to the buyer. And now you have spent a lot of time making changes, and the supplier has new products. And you need to import new products. But at the same time, information about existing products will be completely overwritten, that is, all your work will go to waste.
To solve all these problems, we have created the module "Easy Import".
Module functionality
The module allows you to combine two different strategies in one import: for existing products, only the quantity (stock balances) and price are loaded, and for new products it creates a product card.
Our module significantly reduces the load on the server, and also reduces the total import time. You will be able to update the balances more often, that is, the information about the products in your online store will be more up-to-date.
In addition, the "Easy Import" module will not overwrite information about existing products, will not destroy the fruits of your work to improve product cards.
