APPLICATION OF THE MODULE
The store sells goods from different suppliers. Each company uploads products using CSV and CommerceML.
The administrator regularly uploads information about the remaining goods. The store category tree is different from the supplier category tree. For correct operation, you must make the layout of the goods by categories of the online store. Manual binding takes a huge amount of time, so you need to go into each product, manually change the category, save the changes made, and then repeat the steps for all other products.
The module assigns the supplier’s products an additional category corresponding to the store category and makes it the main one. The buyer, going to the storefront, will see a tree of categories of the online store.
New supplier items that appear in a related category will automatically be assigned a store category. If the supplier category tree does not have a detailed hierarchy, and the store uses a structure with exact division, then the category link will not be possible. When adding new products that were not previously connected manually or automatically, they are assigned a store category. The seller selects products by name from the list and sets the category.
The administrator can view products that do not have a category link. Automatic distribution of the category tree with the module takes much less time, which is especially important when working with a large number of suppliers.
