Moderation of products for an online store
The module allows mass processing of information about goods provided by suppliers. You do not have to study the information received from suppliers in advance and spend time preparing it for download.
It is the product card that sells the product
If the seller presents the goods to the buyer in a regular store, then the product card takes over this function in the online store. It contains all the important information that should convince the buyer to purchase this particular product.
At the same time, information about goods in online stores comes most often directly from suppliers. And before putting the goods from the supplier on display, it is important to carefully check all this information and, if necessary, supplement it. However, going into each product separately, reading the contents of the main fields, and editing them is long and expensive.
Control tools
To make this work easier for you, we have created the moderation of products module. It allows you to check products not one by one, but a convenient group of 10, 25 or 50 products. At the same time, all the basic information about the product is clearly displayed on the screen:
- Title;
- Category;
- Delivery Parameters;
- Description;
- Images;
- Characteristics.
If you have not filled in any of the important blocks, it is highlighted in red. Thus, the store administrator will immediately see what exactly needs to be filled out in the product before publishing the product on the showcase.
It remains for the administrator to carefully study the product information, evaluate its completeness and, if necessary, make changes to the product card.
Working process
The administrator uploads information about the products to the site. There are several ways to do this:
- Create products manually;
- Import products using CSV or XML files;
- Synchronization with 1C or other warehouse accounting programs.
After creating a product card, it goes to moderation. The moderator reviews the information, supplements and approves the products if necessary. After that, they appear in the window.
If you need to change the information about an already published product, then it must first be removed from publication so that it does not catch the eye of customers before the changes are completed. After making changes, the product will go back to moderation.

In combination with the Logistics module, it prohibits the removal of goods that participated in sales.Firstly, the buyer should always be able to open the product card and check its description. Secondly, in this case, search engines will continue to bring buyers to the marketplace site, even if this particular product is not available.
